1) App Server Specialist

Position Description

WebSphere and JBoss stacks.

Must Have:

Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline

Total of 4 years experience

2 years of related experience in developing J2EE enterprise software

2+ years of specific experience in configuring and deploying J2EE

enterprise software

Comfortable with one of Windows/Linux/Unix environments

Good knowledge of configuring, using and deploying on at least 1 of

WebSphere 5.x/6.x, WebLogic 7.x/8.x/9.x, JBoss 3.x/4.x

Good knowledge of troubleshooting problems with application deployments on

at least 1 of the above mentioned app servers

Good knowledge of configuring one of the app servers mentioned above in

tandem with at least 1 of ,DB2 UDB 8.x, SQL Server 2000, Oracle 9x

Must have used at least 1 of Eclipse, NetBeans, JBuilder, Kawa during

development

Must have used Tools for determining issues with App Server configuration

Must have an idea of different deployment topologies

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Good time management skills

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of using configuration management system like CVS, SVN, VSS

Knowledge of using Bug Tracking Systems like Bugzilla, JIRA

Experience in developing/maintaining software products

Excellent communications skills
